Our methods of teaching differ in many ways from the standard rigour of learning the chords first, then graduating into playing simple, often boring songs chosen for you, then into more complex ones and finally you get to play what you want.

When we teach, it will not be in a classroom; it will be one-on-one in your home where we can tailor your lessons to your style of learning. We make learning fun and also make sure your guitar is right for you. A poor fit will make it difficult to learn to play and become a very frustrating experience for you.

We at Custom Guitar Lessons believe getting you into playing the songs you love, is the best motivation for your success. While learning to play your song, you will acquire the knowledge of chords and music fundamentals required to further develop your skills.

Tip's 'N' Tricks

TIP: When buying a guitar, more often than not the guitar has not been set up yet. For example, if the strings are too high, it will make playing chords in the first position very difficult. This will make the guitar sound out of tune and give hand cramps.
